TMT militia during the urban conflict somehwere in Lefkoşa 1974. The man with a FN FAL and British Brodie helmet is allegedly Raif Denktaş, the son of the TRNC's founder and first president Rauf Denktaş.
It's not a neutral article. A one-sided, non-objective article. It is an operation against the massacres and attacks of the Turks on the island by the Greeks between 1960/1974.47 yıl önce bugün ve Türkiye'nin Kıbrıs'ta hala işgal ordusu var.
LOL! Nothing in this thread is neutral. Two sides to every story. It's not a neutral article. A one-sided, non-objective article. It is an operation against the massacres and attacks of the Turks on the island by the Greeks between 1960/1974.

That's not Fagamusta, I don't know what you're aiming for but what you're doing is just pure disinformation... It's neighbourhood/southern quarter of the Turkish Cypriot city of Famagusta called Varosha. Famagusta is today second largest Turkish city within the TRNC. Before 1974 was also capital for Turkish Cypriots. Varosha was mostly Cypriot Greek & tourist area of the city back in 70s. Instead of seizing and using the hotels here the Turkish armed forces declared this place a military forbidden zone. This area was not given to the Turkish Cypriots, it was kept as a trump card for the peace process and not to give the image of an invader.
Varosi (or Varosha), is literally part of Famagusta. That's not Fagamusta, I don't know what you're aiming for but what you're doing is just pure disinformation... Today, Famagusta is a famous city with its castle-like appearance, hundreds of hotels built after 1974 & population of 50,000+

And this is Varosha you posted above, first of all first image shows city center of fagamusta not Varosha secondly those few flats are not in greenzone ( kinda border area/nomansland) Turkey could donated to Turkish Cypriots but we didnt touch here cuz of Greek owners! When the peace talks with time stopped, this place was left in the middle. In short, I recommend you to first research something and then comment please. It takes quite a while to fix empty disinformation's... Secondly, this is a military forum and we share military photo's here. I did not share anything too sided. If you study the events historically, you will understand what kind of "invasion" it was.

More disinformation's.....Varosi (or Varosha), is literally part of Famagusta.
The point being, a European Union country has been occupied by Turkish troops for almost a half a century. Time to let it go.
