America seems to be pulling a genius move in that its maintaining diplomatic channels to the Taliban. The writing is on the wall and everyone can read Afghanistan will be under Taliban rule before the year ends. So the US made a deal with the Taliban and made good in pulling out. Actually building some sort of relationship... wouldnt be surprised down the line the US will be working with this guys and thereby having some influence in Taliban. Saudi 2.0

Americans were crashing Taliban fighters like ants for 20 years. I guess Taliban feels a bit upset about it. And you seriously believe the diplomatic solution is possible now?

Official statement of the Taliban about Turkish troops in Afghanistan.
According to Clause 7 Taliban had talks with the Turks and were promised that no decisions would be made without their consent.

Not quiet, the idea of Turan is more ethno-cultural then religious.

Well I hear China is already urging Taliban to convert itself into a political party.
Who knows, maybe with Chinese "silk road" ambitions, and Chinese bank accounts, they can potentially buy the entire country and buy every warlord.

Obviously there are far more ants than Americans as they are out and about now. There is always a possible diplomatic solution, a lot of your allies were your former enemies. Most you occupied but had to let go, you were beating them, but you werent crushing them.

Vehicles abandoned by the Americans in Bagram, some are armored.

Where will they end up?

Even the Soviet retreat in 89 was more organized and, at least, actually looked like a military retreat.
Here the Biden's administration has left: infrastructures, gear, supplies. A substantial amount of which "brand new".

Maybe that's the plan.
In any case, Taliban seems pretty strong these days, and 3 of USA's biggest geopolitical enemies (China, Russia, Iran) are nearby. Now Washington will likely specialize in throwing rocks at the hornet's nest to give the nearby landowners a bad day.
Russia seems exceptionally outspoken about the developments, promising Taliban "massive casualties" and "you will lose everything". Time for nukes?

Taliban,Al-Queda will make all Muslim countries and Muslim regions want to be real Suni Muslim state, and they will support Uyghur for making Taliban,Al-Queda links and anti Daesh links.
Uyghur doesn't want just autonomous region but wants to build Muslim state and independence from China, surely China government doesn't like Taliban,Al-Queda 100%!

this pic does not include Lebanon,Israel,Sinai, Northern Egypt, Northen Libya, and all Saudi's coast Red sea!
They want Crimea and Caucasus from Russian!
Nothing to worry about, the picture morris posted is accurate in portraying the goal pan-turks would like to pursue but ultimately nothing more than a pipe dream.

Brits are now saying they are ready to work with Taliban. If you ask me the only thing they will achieve with this kind of statements is demoralizing pro-Western government in Kabul and boosting the moral of Taliban. The Brits are seen as enemies and invaders by Taliban, there is no way they will cooperate with them. Pointless if not dangerous rhetoric...

Taliban announced seizure of strategic border checkpoint on border with Pakistan.

The Pakistani Air Force allegedly warned the Afghan army that an attempt to drive the Taliban out of the Spin Boldak area (where the border crossing is located) would be repelled by Pakistani aviation.
There are rumors that Pakistani aviation is already providing air support to the Taliban in some places so far without evidence.
