Photos Afghan Armed Forces (Prior to 2021)

China of all countries is the last one to ally with Islamic extremists while the Chinese Communist Party is trying to settle its domestic problems with the Muslim Uygur people and their separatism. It is quite likely though that China unofficially supports tribal factions that fight against the Taliban.

Pray and spray with the ANA?
Don't be so harsh on them, they've only had twenty years of training and mentoring to learn basic soldiering skills ?

I'd prefer a random group of conscripts from any NATO member that has had twenty weeks in the army total prior to deployment myself than any Afghan force ...

I've read quite a bit about regular forces that helped train regular Afghan forces, but not much about the Afghan SF. I wonder what level of proficiency they attained considering they're supposed to be staffed by the more capable individuals. Still the Afghans simply aren't able to provide the air and artillery support that NATO could and so the skill of individual units matters little since they're effectively outnumbered*

* Meaning that although there are more Afghan security personnel they can be eliminated unit by unit since there is no effective way to provide support between units with the Afghans not having enough transport aircraft and rotary assets and not enough units to effectively control supply lines and sweep them for IEDS to move supplies and troops around.

Recently I've been watching a Norwegian documentary series from 2010 on YouTube that followed the Norwegian force at PRT Meymaneh. It became apparent that back then the mindset of the regular ANA was that the foreigners were already handling the Taliban, so why should the Afghans become active themselves?! To quote the Norwegian colonel when the local ANA top brass and clan elders complained about the alleged lack of support: "Millions and millions of Dollars in aid have been poured into Afghanistan, and it went where?" The idea that the coalition forces where there to help the Afghans help themselves apparently never really protruded beyond the camp walls of the PRTs, and I have a feeling that the lethargy and corruption in Astan haven't changed since then.

The ANA special forces at least seem to have some decent equipment today and may be highly motivated but as you wrote, the big gear is missing for the regular troops to be effective. E.g. the few Super Tucanos that the US donated to the Afghan Air Force can't be everywhere where CAS is needed.

real,Taliban pledged allegiance to China?

Taliban has strong connection to Pakistan, Pakistan and China are aligned against India. China's main interest in Afghanistan is mainly because China’s Belt and Road Initiative, a modern upgrade of the ancient Silk Road.

The Taliban claim to have seized oil fields in northern Afghanistan in the Sari Pul province, which means more money.

All this will help Taliban recruitment drive.

The number of districts in Afghanistan has varied in recent decades and is disputed.
A "controlled" district means that the government/Taliban controls a district and there is negligible Taliban/government activity.
Data based on reporting by Radio Azadi correspondents in Kabul and the provinces.

MD530F helicopter managed to make an emergency landing.

You noticed the videos there are no exodus or fear from civilians as the fighting gets closer? This could mean that most civilians do not see this as their fight, ergo, the Taliban is not a threat for them and their way of life. There is no afghan nation to prop up. It's just a bunch of warlords who decided to take sides.

flight shows Taliban only not bombard Taliban!pity for fuel and maintain to this flight!

I remember reading complains and threats from Taliban about their fighters killed by American bombardment a week or so ago.

There were couple of videos of refugees running away from Taliban, I guess it is depend on ethnicity of attackers and attacked.
This video supposedly shows refugees from Afghanistan to Turkey via Iran.

There will always be some, and like you said it probably is more tribal and not a nation
