This image is extraordinary and rare : it is the remains of a Vampires T.55 of the Katangese air force destroyed at Kolwesi.
Two were acquired in Portugal via South Africa, but were destroyed by UN J 29s shortly after their arrival in Katanga.
This is the only photo I have ever seen of a Katangese Vampire.
