Sgt. First Class Divon Smith, Security Assistance Training and Management Organization (SATMO) observes and instructs Nigerian 26th Infantry Battalion soldiers rehearsing best practices for a squad sized raid. Smith deployed for seven weeks in Jaji, Nigeria.
*Nigerian soldier next to SFC. Smith is armed with a Hungarian AK-63E (AKM) other Nigerian's a mix of PRC Type-56 and AKM's.
NOTE: SFC Smith wears the 82nd Airborne Division (All American) combat patch.
SFC Alvarez supervises Nigerian soldiers of the 26th Infantry Battalion who carry Hungarian AK-63E (AKM) rifles.
NOTE: on SFC Alvarez's left sleeve, is the Army Material Command patch. Above the AMC patch is the rotation's SATMO tab and at the top, he wears the Ranger Tab. On his right sleeve is the 25th Infantry Division combat patch.
