It won't happen, Scholz is too much of a coward for that, but an interesting news snippet nevertheless: The minority speaker for defence of Germany's parliament (which could most readily be described as the German shadow defence minister), Florian Hahn, has urged the German Chancellor to offer Israel the permanent deployment of German air defence assets to help defend the country from further Iranian attacks. Hahn suggested that Germany should permanently station Typhoons on an Israeli air base if Tel Aviv requests as much. (Source, in German)
Of course the Israelis hardly need that kind of help, but I'd like to see this aid materialise just as a massive middle finger to Nicaragua.
