Barely. Yugoslavia started tearing itself apart in the late 60s, with liberal student protests in Belgrade and Albanian nationalist ones in Pristina, the "Croatian Spring" in the 70s, open hostility between the Serbian and Croatian portions of the State Security Service, the Constitution of '74, and so on.In my opinion Tito's period held together rather well, he kept all sides under control particularly those with ancient grudges to settle.
The country was bound to collapse, and an inordinate amount of restraint and wisdom was required for it to happen bloodlessly. Even if he was alive today, Broz would have been lamenting the bloody dissolution of Yugoslavia from somewhere in California, much like Gorbachev. That is, if he survived those who had an ax to grind against him personally, of which there were many on all sides.
