During this period a metal bars were installed because of the deuterating security in the country. And in 1979 a major renovation was done for interior design purposes

In 1989 the US withdraw its mission and the building stood abandoned. Those are the only interior photos I manage to find from this period
The current embassy is settled into a new maximum fortified building and the fate of this one is unknown to me.
