Good to see that the Independence class LCS is providing some return on investment. Note the Tulsa has the racks for the NSM installed but no missiles yet. As the Navy gives more routine maintenance responsibilities of the ships to crews, rather than expensive civilian third party companies, hopefully the costs to operate will be reduced.

Recently, an Indy class outran a Chinese destroyer shadowing it in the SCS and lost it when it entered more shallow waters where the deeper draft PLAN ship could not go..
