I've been posting US Navy Photos since 2006 and this is the first time I've ever seen photos of an US Navy SSBN entering drydock.





KINGS BAY, Ga. (August 13, 2019) The Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Tennessee (SSBN 734) (Blue) arrives at the Trident Refit Facility (TRF) dry dock at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., for a maintenance period, August 13.

@bdpopeye always great to see your photos. I'm looking forward to the Blue Angels AND the RAF Red Arrows at this year's Miramar Air Show.
There'll be the usual F-16 Viper and F-35B demo flights, plus a host of civil acrobat flights, plus the always impressive Marine Corps ground assault demonstration.

September 27th - 29th, San Diego is the place to be!

 
I had duty at every Naval Air Station Miramar Air Show from 1986 to 1991....Miramar was turned over to the USMC on 1 October 1996.
