I wonder for how long Ukrainian can keep up its fleet of Su-27s and MiG-29s in flying condition operating de facto under embargo conditions? there is talk right now about replacing Su-25s with... Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano

Heavy fighting a week before July 2019 cease fire went into effect. Ukrainian UAV recon unit discovered Russian supply base. Despite the presence of a forested area nearby, Russian forces put supply trucks next to each other in the open. It looks like the base was only protected by a single SA-13 "Gopher" AA system, which failed to detect a UAV hovering overhead. 54th infantry brigade artillery unit went into action.

As expected, despite cease fire, during the last couple of days shelling of the Ukrainian positions by the Russian forces has intensified because of Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations.

On August 29th, 2019 Ukraine will mark its first national Memorial Day i.e Fallen Defenders of Ukraine day. The last days of August will forever be remembered in Ukraine due to tragic events Ilovaysk and the horror of the "green massacre".
