Why are you surprised? It's a civilian purchase. I'm in the same boat. I don't have any export licenses so I'm buying off the shelf (although of much, much better quality). At this point, Ukrainian military just might as well have sponsor logos like AliExpress, Amazon, Walmart.

I was about to post. The thing that piqued my interest and maybe I'm wrong, Ukrainians seem to "move" differently than other SOF units. The training was done essentially from scratch, and they look more like Israelis to me rather than similar NATO units. But I hope someone who is more in the know can comment.

Not surprised so much, rather happy that the Ukrainian military is using a device that I have bought and I feel I have made a good choice as a result
