Newest batch of spanish refurbished Leopards 2A4 seen at GDELS-SBS plant of Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville) before they were moved to Ferrol and sent to Poland by sea (ship sailed off to an undisclosed Polish port last week). 29th June 2024 - Photo: Spanish Defence Ministry.
According to the Spanish Ministry of Defence, this second batch of Leo 2A4s includes a new large consignment of rocket launchers (model undisclosed but most probably Instalaza C-90s, perhaps with some C-100s, we'll see) and some engineering equipment (excavators and other related equipment confirmed).
I see where the Russians already lost close to a brigade this week. Four days into the week and they have lost 4,000 soldiers and quite a bit of equipment. This has been a disaster for them. They have not even secured Luhansk or Donetsk after two and a half years. I am aware what they are "really" up against. They should have considered that from the beginning.
The recycling of obsolescence equipment between both sides to include their allies giving it to them, is crazy. Must be a heck of logistical nightmare to keep track of what goes to what and so on.
When I read about the MIM 23 Hawk's, I almost fell over laughing from shock.
