The Ukrainians praise these vehicles very much because even after an artillery shell is about to explode or a mine is hit, the crew has a very good chance of survival, and often no one is seriously injured. In similar circumstances, the entire BWP-1/2 crew usually dies on the spot and there is nothing to collect from the vehicle. Meanwhile, a large part of the damaged Bradleys is recovered from the battlefield and put back into service after repairs.
