Movie / TV TV-Shows/Series you are currently watching

Every so often watching the Diplomat I thought, "wait Philip and Elizabeth got back in the country?"

Just kidding, the Diplomat may be the only original show on Netflix I actually thought was great this year.

When they made reference to Five Eyes and the AUKUS sub deal I was surprised that a Hollywood writer not only googled some stuff, but actually inserted it into the plot in a way that made sense.

The Day of the Jackal has been great so far. Highly recommend.

I tried watching the new Alex Cross series on Prime but every single scene in the first episode is all about blacks vs police. Nauseating.

Looking forward to starting Silo!

To be honest, the first season of Silo was mediocre at best.

Just like most tv shows lots of potential got squandered.

Redav, I think it was, said the books were better though.

The Landman series just began, and I'll be making an effort not to miss any episodes. I got into it so deeply, I didn't even mind all the CW music.

Story line concerns Texas oil production. Very gritty but realistic dialog.

Rewatching Severance

Now everything makes much more sense

The Goonies meets Star Wars.
Watched the first couple of episodes and surprisingly enough found it not bad. A classic Disney adventure vibe to it.

Agreed regarding Skeleton Crew, I went in with doubts but my kid loves all things Star Wars, and your "classic Disney adventure vibe" is the best description. Its not hard core Star Wars but it is pretty fun and entertaining, which is a nice change.

Finished rewatching Severance.
When it first aired i almost gave up even before half season, but people told me to stick to it and i do not regret doing so.
Now i'm anxious for season 2, i hope they do not ruin the story just for the sake of making money ( i'm looking at you , Westworld!)

My cable/internet provider upgraded my account to include Max - great addition! I'm binge-rewatching the Sopranos. The Wire is also in the lineup, and I'll catch that one, too. Haven't seen it yet, but I'm hoping for Oz. (prison drama)

I downloaded it almost 4 years ago but I've finally got around to watching Valley of Tears. Good stuff!
