Navy SF (SAT) members armed with modified Colt M4A1 5.56mm carbines with spartan ARMS free float rails, EOTech XPS3 holographic sights with G33 3x magnifiers AN/PEQ-16B laser modules and Surefire SOCOM556 suppressors during a VBSS exercise as a part of NATO Operation Sea Guardian. They are also wearing Ops-Core FAST combat helmets with RAC headsets, AN/PVS-31 night vision goggles, MOHOC helmet camera and SS precision Manta ır strobes.

Turkish Gabya class frigate TCG Gelibolu made a passing exercise in Eastern Mediterranean with the Japanese Training Fleet.

According to the official statement various maneuvers, training and drills were performed, personnel was exchanged between the ships. It is said the exercise has contributed to the development of interoperability and cooperation between Turkey and the Japanese Navy.
