The Multinational Combined Task Force 151 that responds to piracy attacks in the Gulf of Aden, off the coasts of Somalia and the Indian Ocean is being commanded by Turkey since the 25th of June 2020. Turkey will be commanding CTF-151 until 10 Dec. 2020
98th Anniversary of Gallipoli Campaign..
Since 2006, all tests of SOM missile and its variants developed by Tubitak SAGE have been completed in national infrastructures.

Turkey's first helicopter engine, TEI-TS1400 is delivered today. The engine was developed for the T-625 Gökbey multirole helicopter. Also, the engine can be integrated into the T-129 Atak helicopter and the Hürkuş training aircraft with various changes. The core technology of this engine will also form the basis for the engine needed for the TF-X 5th-gen fighter jet.

on October 3, 2019, in the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command, an contract was signed between ASFAT and Airbus companies for the retrofitting of the A400M Atlas aircraft. Retrofitting process of the A400M aircraft are carried out in the 2nd Air Maintenance Factory Directorate, under the main contractor of ASFAT. With this project, Turkey will be the 4th country that approved by Airbus for the A400M aircraft maintenance, repair and retrofit center in the world. Thus, A400M aircrafts of the Turkish Air Force will not need to be sent abroad for retrofit operations to the other countries. Also, the other Atlas aircrafts belonging to other countries can be brought to Kayseri for retrofit and maintenance operations.
Under this contract, the first retrofitting operation of the Turkish Air Force's A400M aircraft has been started in the 2nd Air Maintenance Factory Directorate.

A few pictures from the Gabya-class frigate's 76mm Main Battery Cannon shooting exercise in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
As part of the regularly held NEXUSACE missions; the 1st, 3rd & 6th Main Jet Base Commands conducted NEXUS ACE 20-35 training flights in the north of the Aegean Sea on the 15th of December. The flights were conducted with two F-4s, four F-16s, one AEW&C and one NATO AWACS aircraft.
