Testing the new M20 bazookaat the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, July 1950....
The difference in size between the diameters of the two bazooka tubes is shown to good effect....89mm as opposed to the original 60mm.
When used in an anti-tank role the M20 fired a M28A2 HEAT rocket.
Interestingly, the M20's loader is actually a USAF airman!
The penetrations are surrounded by spalling.
Note also the tripod-mounted M20 (r-r) in the foreground.
