Politics Syrian Civil War

Yeah, but as far as I remember the main difference (between tanks) is not about chassis and they are superficialy simular(chassis). While the main difference is in the turret, PDS, cannon etc. As for performance the range mostly stays the same, like 3-5 km (for TOS) if I'm correct.

It is said the system's range has been extended to 6km (some sources are claiming a maximum range of 12km), firing computer has been upgraded,

Well, that's more formidable, but still dangerous range for artillery.

Yet another conflict of SAA+civilians and US patrol on the SAA checkpoint.

That looks like the same incident that was posted yesterday. Interesting the comments on the Twitter poster. “even the Syrian army can infringe on the Americans”, whatever that means. Obviously they were stopped because they were willing to stop vs shooting the place up.

No, this one was resolved peacefully. Exactly, US actions are being limited to a very minimum taking into account what Trump said e. g. patrol and observe is their maximum on the ground. Still bad publicity for US and a lot of chest puffing for SAA as uasual if you ask me.

Pretty self-explanatory.

While in the other part of Syria Turks continue their deployment.

Despite the ongoing political talks on the issue of Idlib and disputes between russia and Turkey regarding the details of Astana talks and various other agreements, the situation on the ground looks dire for Turks.

They are losing any momentum for action as well as ground pretty fast. Almost half of their observation outposts are on the SAA teritory already.

And the tensions there continue to rise.

So Turks either need to talk the talk but back off or walk the walk and take immidiate action or they will lose any opportunity and will be squeezed out eventualy. However, this also means acting against russian air force (even though it wasn't much of an issue for Tukey in the past) which is an unlikely developement if you ask me, considering their annual trading volume, technology and other types of cooperation .

Where’s that? Some of those people look Asian.

Those are from the Fatemiyoun Brigade, one of the many Iranian Shia groups operating in Syria. Recruited mostly from North Afghanistan.

Today Syrian Arab Army liberated last terrorist-help districts in Aleppo and western terriories around the city include quite significant towns without any significant resistance. Rebel groups demoralised and exhausted, seemed most of the fighters just leave positions and run. Turkish army can't do anything because rebel defence is non existent, all fortified positions on their eastern flank are lost and fighters deserted.

Surely SAA and allies now gain momentum sufficient to liberate entire Idlib region in weeks, but i expect there will be another ceasfire dealed between Russia and Turkey by political reason. May be for a month or two.

None of those photos look like they are representing the same person. But even if they did represent the same person, ask yourself the question why Iran meddling in Syria is so much different from Turkey or USA meddling in Syrian affairs. Neither have much to do with morality, but just with political and economical control.

What was the story with the Turkish soldier prisoners posted yesterday which I no longer see in this thread?

The Syrian Minister of Transport, Ali Hammoud, announced on Monday the reopening of the Aleppo International Airport, with the first flight arriving from Damascus international airport, with flights to Cairo and Damascus scheduled in the next few days. Aleppo International was closed for civil flights for 8 years.

Lots of great combat footage as always (drone footage of artillery strikes, night vision videos, destroyed turkish APCs, suicide bombers etc) from the current offensive in eastern Idlib.
