The Santa María Class frigates (F80s) will be replaced soon by the new ASW frigates of the Bonifaz Class being built at Navantia Ferrol Shipyard right now. First unit of the class, the Bonifaz (F-111), will be launch in July.

Next month is also espected the launch of the submarine Narciso Monturiol (S82) at Navantia Cartagena Shipyard.

Interesting...

· Note the replacement of the old and obsolete Meroka 2B for a new RWS Guardian 30 (30mm).
· Indra Crow Anti-UAS systems can be seen after the RWS.
· The old manual M2 positions on the bridge wings are replaced by RWS Guardian 2.0 (12,7mm).
· Modified midship deck for the new Rhibs.
