Juan Luis Pacheco, a veteran of the Spanish Civil War of the Nationalist side who served with the Requetés of Navarra, a militia of Carlist political background and later the Spanish Foreign Legion.
He then served in the all-volunteer 250th Infantry “Blue (Azúl)” Division of the German Army against the Soviets in the Eastern Front of the Second World War, later receiving the Iron Cross for his actions.
Pacheco has passed away in 2009 due to old age.
