Much better photos of the new un-named PLAN CV-17 take 22 March 2019 in Dalian China. Chinese military boards state that the ship will have one more sea trial before commissioning in April.

^^ Gotta hand it to them, they are the masters of reverse engineering!

Actually when Liaoning CV-16 formerly Varyag was purchased by a shadow company the complete plans for the carrier were also purchased. She has a much improved & better propulsion system than her Russian counterpart Admiral Kuznetsov and is much better maintained. CV-17 has a complete Chinese propulsion system. Last word the PLAN method of operating a flight deck is very similar to the US and NATO.

An anti-terrorism drill, code-named Powersky, takes place at Lei Yue Mun Park, Hong Kong, March 25, 2019.

The drill simulated scenarios including a terrorist attack with explosives and toxic chemical gas. The operation was aimed at promoting counter-terrorism awareness among the public and enhancing coordination in the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU), established in April 2018. The widths of the hovercraft and the mother ship dock difference less than 1 meter. With its two high-power air propellers on the rear, the direction and speed are extremely difficult to control. A tiny mistake may cause deadly collision accidents. (eng.chinamil.com.cn/Photo by Liu Jian)

Wow In Multicam Tropic !!!! I just wonder if it is a copy a the real one ??

Those are operators from the Hong Kong Police Force's SDU (Special Duties Unit) :) Hard to say if they are copies or the real one but they have recently being spotted in olive green or in multicam. Perhaps they have transitioned from their famous dark blue/ black outfit.

That LCAC is an reverse engineering from USA?

I don't think so. China started developing it's LCAC in the 1960s. The USN did not start until the early 70s....Read here;

The Chinese LCAC pictured in my post is a Type 726. The wiki article talks about all Chinese LCACs.
