Tench class submarine ROCS Hai Shih (SS-791), launched as USS Cutlass (SS-478) in November 1944. In January 2017, Taiwan announced that it would receive a retrofit to extend its service life until 2026, making it the longest-serving submarine in history. Well, you have to have "you know what" quite well suited and of steel to man that submarine, which has been escaping for quite some time from becoming a museum piece!
