Albumen print by Charles Thurston Thompson of 91-gun Second Rate HMS Hannibal fitting out for service with the Black Sea Fleet in December, 1853.
Ordered with her sister Princess Royal as a 90-gun sail-driven second rate ship of the line (On the lines of the Albion-class), Hannibal was converted on the stocks to a 91-gun screwship of the line. She would join the Black Sea Fleet during the Crimean War as soon as she was commissioned in June, 1854.
She was hulked in 1884 before finally being sold to be broken up in 1904.
That 76 mm gun turret right on the bow is quite interesting. Actually there is another one installed right at the stern. I wonder if those have any offensive function or if they are only used for AA purposes.

K class submarine HMS K-4 on the shallows of Walney Island at low tide, January 1917
HMS K4 ran aground on Walney Island in January 1917 and remained stranded there for some time. On 17 November 1917, K4 collided with sister ship K1 during an accident off the Danish coast. The light cruiser Blonde operating with K1 had to make a sharp turn to avoid three units from the 4th Cruiser Squadron. And in the confusion, K4 collided with K1. The crew of K1 were rescued and K1 sunk by the Blonde.
K4 was lost on 31 January 1918 during the night time fleet exercises later known as the Battle of May Island (Operation E.C.1) when she was attached to the 13th Submarine Flotilla. While attempting to avoid a collision with K3, she became the victim of collisions with K6 and K7. She was lost with all hands. The wreck is designated as a protected place under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986.

Mercy-class hospital ship USNS Comfort en-route to Manhattan following the September 11 attacks
On Nov. 1, 2018, the USS John P. Murtha recovered the test version of the Orion capsule at sunset in the Pacific Ocean. The Underway Recovery Test-7 (URT-7) is one in a series of tests that the Exploration Ground Systems Recovery Team, along with the U.S. Navy, are conducting to validate procedures and hardware that will be used to recover the Orion spacecraft after it splashes down following deep space exploration missions. Orion will have the capability to sustain the crew during space travel, provide safe re-entry from deep space return velocities, and emergency abort.
