Gunboat Eugen Stihi. Former French 2nd class avisos of Friponne class representing specialised ASW ships. Bought by Romania 9.1.1920. On 5.9.1944 were captured by Soviet troops at Constanza and 14.9.1944 commissioned by Soviet Navy as Akhtuba. 14.10.1945 were returned to Romania as Eugen Stihi. In 1960 converted to survey/command vessels and discarded finally in 2002. Now abandoned in Mangalia

The #EgyptianNavy FREMM Bergamini-class frigate ENS Al Galala was spotted with a RECM system (jammer) on her mast (photo of her mast). The former Italian frigate Spartaco Schergat was stripped of her sensitive equipment before she was transferred to Egypt. I believe it is the same RECM subsystem, the Elettronica-ELT Spa ZEUS, fitted on #ItalianNavy Thaon di Revel-class/PPA Light+ (see photo of Raimondo Montecuccoli) and #Qatari Doha/Al Zubarah-class corvettes.

RN:
Albumen print by Charles Thurston Thompson of 91-gun Second Rate HMS Hannibal fitting out for service with the Black Sea Fleet in December, 1853.
Ordered with her sister Princess Royal as a 90-gun sail-driven second rate ship of the line (On the lines of the Albion-class), Hannibal was converted on the stocks to a 91-gun screwship of the line. She would join the Black Sea Fleet during the Crimean War as soon as she was commissioned in June, 1854.
She was hulked in 1884 before finally being sold to be broken up in 1904.
