In the Naval Base, Simon Bolivar in Cartagena, Men and Women of the Colombian Navy paid a posthumous tribute to Admiral Rafael Grau Araujo, former National Navy Commander, Knight of the Wide Sea and military nobleman, an example of courage and gallantry that marked the course of the sailors of Colombia. From the Naval Force of the Caribbean we remember his leadership, courage and strength, exalting his deep love for the Sea, dedicating his life to the service of the Colombian Navy. He left under the call of the God of the Seas and from on high he will continue to be the beacon that guides the new generations of the Naval Institution.
