A "Gebirgsjäger" unit is being disbanded by the British.
A collection of assorted German military insignia, identity discs and Soldbuchs etc., confiscated by the British Army's No. 14 Disbandment Unit at Eutin barracks, which was charged with overseeing the demobilisation of German troops after the surrender.
Note the Gebirgsjäger's Edelweiss insignia on the M43 Feldmütze and the M44 wartime economy uniform worn by the Landser on the left.
