An artist received the Merit Cross Order of St. Michael in the late 1880s. It was awarded for his leadership role in organizing the American submission for two major international art exhibitions in Munich (1883 and 1888). I do not have the medal and would like to see what it was. Would appreciate thoughts, ideas, hopefully a picture of it.
