Note: VF-71 was assigned to Carrier Air Group Seven (CVG-7) aboard the US aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31), which was deployed to Korea from 20th May 1952 to 8th January 1953. VF-71 had the tail code "L-1XX" during that deployment.
