The Ground Self-Defense Force is conducting joint exercise "Dharma Guardian 22" with the Indian Army. As training by function, shooting training and urban combat training were conducted to improve tactical skills and promote mutual understanding.

The troops of Indian Army & JGSDF participated in a 48 hours long Validation Exercise to validate Joint Operation Planning, Air Assault, Counter Insurgency Operations in Urban Terrain during the ongoing Joint Exercise.
The Joint military training Exercise Dharma Guardian between Indian Army & JGSDF culminated today at Camp Imazu in Shiga Province, Japan. The exercise further cemented the Defence Cooperation, camaraderie & friendship between the two Armies.
