The Israel Navy has taken delivery of the first example of its latest Sa'ar 6 corvette. Upon arrival it will be fitted and armed with locally-produced weapons and electronics.

Some interesting photos of the late Sean Connery during a visit to an IAF base in 1967. He was posing with the famous Iraqi MiG-21 in which an Iraqi pilot defected with. Upon arrival, it was christened '007' after James Bond, a role immortalised by Sean Connery in the films.

The IAF just took delivery of a very unique test version of the F-35I that would enable the IDF to integrate and test a host of indigenous weapons and avionics on this fifth-generation platform.
