This is 6th PARA (Airborne) Battalion. Parachute Regiment procured more FLATTOP Tavors to equip Airborne battalions & to replace AKs of SF. But similar equipment is issued to Infantry GHATAK PLATOONs in northern command. It is just Infantry GHATAKs have limited X95s & TAVORs as compared to SF & AIRBORNE.

This is GARHWAL RIFLES GHATAK PLATOON along Line Of Control. This equipment is common among all Infantry, SF & Airborne battalions posted along Pak Border. Now being issued to troops at LAC as well as reserve battalions.
