The biggest threat to India's internal security is the naxal/marxist movement, more troops get lost in the counter-naxal operation than JK or NE(it is almost quite now). Like one time they ambushed and killed 70+ CRPF (internal police).

I can show few because rest are graphic.
Here's one special unit called Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA) which belongs to our biggest central police called CRPF. They are specially trained against these naxals in jungle warfare. They fight along with local police units.

Will post more in coming days.

Those state affected with far left extremism have created one police anti naxal unit along with CT/SWAT unit. Local units are always effective than federal ones.

These naxal hit areas are always filled with booby traps & IEDs which have done more damage than actual combat/offensive ops.
