Regarding the 31 May YouTube video post on the rock throwing between Chinese/Indian troops . . . that appeared downright sporty, if not a tad out of control. However, I could not understand a word being said, so I am only speculating (although towards the end, I thought I heard a guy say in English, "He's dead", referring to the body on the ground).

He wasn't dead. A Chinese soldier was detained (Probably driver of the Chinese vehicle nearby left behind) . He was being shielded by IA officer from angry troops. That officer was telling him not to worry you are safe kinda words. He asks troops to take photos of the vehicle for proof. Later handed him over to the Chinese authorities. Other troops were constantly shouting hail mother India, curse words & f words about Chinese.
This was retaliation of the skirmishes happened earlier in May when over a dozen soldiers from both sides were injured in stone pelting.
Current situation at the actual border is peaceful but both armies are sending more troops and equipment near it. We had Lt. General level meeting at the border with Chinese counterparts a day before yesterday and reports say that de escalation has already begun.
