An IAF An-32 aircraft successfully airlifted a critically ill IA personnel from Kargil to CH Chandimandir this morning. High altitude and extreme temperatures make Kargil a formidable challenge for transport operations during summers. This mission was executed at first light, using the aircraft at the edge of its performance envelope.

Joint Inter-Services Security Exercise MUMBAI KAVACH 2025
A high-level joint exercise was conducted by the Indian Army at Colaba, Mumbai to validate integrated responses to multi-dimensional threats. With participation from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Force One, and Mumbai Police, the drill focused on threat prediction, rapid deployment, real-time coordination, and seamless integration of efforts. Key simulations included threat neutralisation, casualty evacuation, and joint command operations strengthening inter-agency synergy, interoperability, and operational readiness.

Exercise Tiger Claw 2025, the first ever independent Special Forces exercise, between Indian Air Force and US Air Force, concluded at the Garud Regimental Training Center, yesterday. Conducted at various locations in North India, from 26 May to 10 Jun 25, the exercise objectives included expanding partnership, mutual exchange of best practices in Special Operations, and joint training between the two Air Forces to develop interoperability.
