In a swiftly coordinated medical evacuation by ALH MK III helicopter Indian Coast Guard saved a 26 year old fisherman requiring immediate hospitalisation due to drowning from IFB Jazeera, located 40 miles from Beypore. The patient was given inflight first aid and safely hospitalised at Kochi.

Indian Coast Guard in a swift sea-air coordinated operation intercepts & detains Iranian fishing vessel in Arabian sea west off Kerala coast with 06 Indian crew employed on contractual basis at Iran. Crew alleges exploitation & mistreatment by the boat owner. The boat has been brought to Kochi for further investigation. Indian Naval ships INS Delhi, INS Shakti & INS Kiltan led by RAdm Rajesh Dhankhar, FOCEF arrived Singapore on 06 May to a warm welcome by personnel of Republic of Singapore Navy, RSN & the HCI Singapore staff. The visit is part of the Op Deployment of Indian Navy's IN Eastern Fleet to the South China Sea. Activities planned during the visit include interactions with the High Commission of India, professional interactions with the RSN as also academia & community outreach, reflecting the shared values of both navies.

Indian Navy Ships INS DELHI and INS SHAKTI arrived for Port Calls at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia earlier today, as part of the Operational Deployment of the Indian Navy Eastern Fleet to the South China Sea. The Ships will engage with Royal Malaysian Navy on various professional interactions to include Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEE), cross ship visits and visit to training bases over the next three days.
