Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

CISF conducted a multi-agency mega mock exercise (Operation-Samanvay) on CBRN attack, IED & Armed attack at Dilli Haat INA Metro station, DMRC Delhi. Teams of CISF NDRF DMRC DDMA, Delhi SWAT, Delhi Police & Fire Service participated in the exercise.

CISF conducted a multi-agency mock exercise on thwarting armed intrusion SPM Narmadapuram. Officials of Local police and SPM Mgmt participated.

CISF along with NDRF, SDRF, Local Police, Fire Services & MCF Mgmt officials conducted a joint mock exercise on fire & rescue operation CISF Unit MCF Bhopal.

Ex Dustlik 2022. Uzbekistan Army troops joined Indian Army soldiers in tactical drills on fourth day of Joint Training which included live firing from Uzbekistan army weapons. The soldiers from both sides participated in team events to build camaraderie & competitive spirit.

Indian Navy's indigenous stealth destroyer, INS Chennai with integral helos, maritime patrol aircraft P8I & Dornier, & MiG 29K fighter aircraft exercised with French Navy's La Fayette class frigate, FS Courbet & submarine support vessel, FS Loire.

The expanded scope of Varuna 2022 including surface shoots, advanced anti-submarine & air defence exercises, & other tactical maneuvers covering a broad spectrum of Maritime Operations.

Commissioning of INAS 316, marks yet another imp step towards enhancing our combat capability. In today’s dynamic & complex security situation, the Sqn's ops capabilities will significantly enhance our ability to protect, preserve & promote India’s maritime interests - CNS

Operating from INS Hansa since 30 Dec 2021, the sqn has been specifically commissioned to be home for the 4 new P-8I aircraft & to ‘Deter, Detect & Destroy’ any threat in IOR. Commanded by Commodore Amit Mohapatra the sqn is integrated with full spectrum surface & subsurface Naval Ops.

INAS 316 to be commissioned today at INS Hansa, Goa in the presence of Admiral R Hari Kumar, CNS. Will operate the second batch of four P8I aircraft, adding teeth to the armour of the Indian Navy, to Deter, Detect and Destroy any threat to the nation in the IOR.

The conclave saw attendance by serving personnel & Veterans from the three Services along with officials from MoD, Indian Coast Guard & HAL. A synchronized flypast was carried out by the Suryakiran and Sarang Aerobatic teams, Light Combat Helicopter & Chetak helicopters.

In another step towards becoming Atmanirbhar Bharat, CCS has approved procurement of 10 Light Combat Helicopters (LCH) for IAF and 05 for IA. A potent platform, LCH has one of the highest operating altitudes among the combat helicopters in the world.

Hon'ble Raksha Mantri has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the Conclave. Chief of the Air Staff, veterans, serving officers from all three Services along with officials from MoD, Indian Coast Guard & HAL would be attending the Conclave.

To commemorate Chetak helicopter completing 60 years of glorious service to the Nation, Helicopter Training School, IAF has organised a conclave on 02 Apr 22 at the National Industrial Security Academy Convention Centre, Secunderabad.
