According to that logic any attack on civilian infrastructure can be justified by "Oh they were hiding something over there". At this point you might ask yourself the question - if you don't have problems with civilian casualties haven't you became the bad guy?

That's completely missing the point by trying to draw some weird false equivalences.

In Gaza, targets are hiding among civilians, they are using them as shields. That's a perpetual behavior.

Well, in case you didn't figure it out by now, that's an asymmetrical war. And symmetrical warfare is messy as it systematically involves civilians, with our without their knowledge and approval.

Crying about it is pointless.


And yes, Israel does try its best to limit civilian casualties. As it also refrains from firing ordinances willy-nilly right into civilian concentrations "just because".
As opposed to Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah and other groups of your preference that do NOT care where their rockets land, as long as they land in Israel and kill Israelis. Anywhere and anybody will do.

I believe we warfighters crossed the Rubicon on 911 attack in the US [US President even told us our war was not with Islam] & we thoroughly crossed, losing the final bit of our humanity, on 07OCT in Israel with the way we fight our enemies that borders on full blown bloodlust. I studied the koran after 911, the medina & mecca chapters, & realized the whole purpose of Islam is to convert the whole world to one religion which is islam. The biggest State sponsor of terrorism has always been Iran's mullahs in power. We are finally fighting the source of terrorism & their proxies they've sent to do their dirty work of killing the innocent infidels that will never convert to Islam. I've watched the muslims celebrate over the lifeless bodies brought back into Gaza on 07OCT & while we try not to kill civilians to get to the bad guys hiding behind them then that's unfortunate to some we feel it's our duty. Thankfully those of us bomb droppers from 10,000 feet have a split personality with callsigns, Buzzy killed those people not Bjorn, the good husband & father of a house full of kids. Innocent blood will be spilled on both sides before this ends as we protect our way of life hopefully for the next generation. Time will tell but we seem to finally be on the right track & we seem to be winning.

As crazy as it sounds this may have been an inside assassination. If Iran is to make it to a prosperous future for their people the old guard that will never accept peace need to be eliminated along with their group of supporters that want to break the cease fire for peace by demanding firing missiles into Israel either by Iran or their butt buddy proxies. Hopefully this will fall into an internal war where the fight to be top dog winds up fighting among themselves. This will make more sense when the peaceful moderate reveals himself with full support of the population.

MO wise, it does not fit Israel, especially considering the recent strikes.

Neither does it match the US, especially considering how the ceasefire was to Trump.

Inside assassination, carried out by groups opposed to the regime, is a possibility. Though one strike won't be enough to create a momentum.
A third party foreign actor? It is always a possibility, but there aren't any meaningful precedents (with Iran on the receiving end, that is) coming to mind. And for what purpose?

I sure would hate for Iran to fall into a civil-war, because it will be a very long and bloody one. However, if now is the time when a regime change is supposed to start... it seems to be an unavoidable path.

From everything I have learned about history, my conclusion is that the worse a dictatorship is, the bloodier the ‘purge’ must be, because if there is even a remnant of the weeds that created that form of government, there is a good chance that the rest will plot in the dark to turn the tide back in your favour. And unlike ‘the good guys’, ‘the bad guys’ have no problem with unnecessary sacrifices, even if they come from their own ranks...
