I really don't understand all the "let's publicise our next attack before we do it" thing, that both Iran and Israel seem to be doing.

Jebbus, it be like Winston Churchil on 3 June 1944 saying "watch out Germany, we'll be on your French territories in the next couple of days, sucks to be you".

I think there's some merit in doing that. For all their bluster and terroristic threats, Iran and minions know in their hearts Israel is capable of pulling off some never heard before acts such as explodey pagers and walkie-talkies. Also taking out high value targets with extreme precision and minimal collateral damage.

I firmly believe there's a lot of looking over their shoulders going on at the moment.

The security cabinet still hasn't agreed on any action it seems, they're maintaining ongoing contact with Washington. There's talk that Netanyahu could hold off until the US election in the hope more force can be used than the Biden administration is comfortable with at present in case Trump wins, but it's all just hearsay.

You could say the longer they wait, the weaker they look but considering what we've seen recently, Israel is anything but weak.
