Commando Wildcats on exercise in Cumbria.
Commando Wildcats of 847 Naval Air Squadron have participated in Joint Personnel Recovery training as part of Exercise Cobra Warrior.
The exercise included Typhoons jets, Apache attack helicopters, AWACS, and a French ground extraction force. 847 Naval Air Squadron's Commando Wildcats acted as the rescue vehicles as well as being the rescue mission commander, co-ordinating efforts to secure the pick-up site, and subsequently undertake successful personnel extraction.
Exercise Cobra Warrior is designed to test the UK's ability to coordinate and communicate in high-intensity operational environments. The exercise brought together aircraft from multiple nations, including France, and showcased international cooperation and tactical expertise with a diverse mix of aircraft, including a UK Airbus A400, a French Airbus A400, and a French C-130 Hercules.

the UK doesn't have Tiger attack helicopters...my guess is French Tiger's are refuelled by the British Chinook
