Commando Helicopter Force has conducted a training exercise alongside 29 Commando and 24 Commando in Norway during Operation Clockwork.
The commandos were picked up from a remote Forward Arming and Refuelling Point 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle before being inserted onto an objective, and later extracted by Commando Merlins from 845 Naval Air Squadron and Commando Wildcats from 847 Naval Air Squadron.
During the raid the troops secured buildings, successfully removed simulated Improvised Explosive Devices, called in Close Air Support and conducted a casualty evacuation.

I'm triggered. Once had to explain to the Navy that a single seat raf harrier, converted into a 2 seat trainer and issued to the Navy, was not a fecking sea harrier. Took me 6 months, really tested my memo writing skills.
but it flies off our carriers - still not a sea harrier
But we only have sea harriers - no you dont.
This was to do with repair coding, HA for harrier, SH for Sea Harrier.
