And how much will still be flying in a month - 3 months - 6 months - a year

Will be lucky if anything is still in the air in 3 months

I'm assuming that the ANA aircrew have either changed sides or been forced to work for the Taliban and that's who's flying them. Can maybe assume that the same has happened with some groundcrew so they might have some maintenance capability but spares won't last forever.

Haha, what a farcical article. After countless scandals he is firmly in the pocket of leftists with a climate, refugees, diversity and EU obsessed political agenda that has him moving further towards people like AOC every year. He acts tough making statements like this knowing full well that when it's all said and done all refugees will get a Dutch passport because the only reason he is still in office is because the "refugees welcome" parties let him.

Like him making statements on the EU. In The Hague he is critical of the EU and when he's in Brussels he is the EU biggest fan.

Second video is from a training in Iran. I would be beware of many fake videos/news that go around regarding Panjshir.

Have they cleaned the sewers out?

How much fuel does the power station have?

Which side of the road are we all going to drive on?

Me thinks History has not finished with either Afghanistan, nor the Taliban.

I mean what do you do with 100K soldiers? The week they dont get paid is going to be pretty bloody. I guess for a few weeks they can tidy up, deliver weapons to Iran for $$ or whatever. Then what? Presumably the civilians will more or less follow the instructions, no music, no women etc.

Its going to be a long cold winter....

Another video in the taliban parade from earlier today. My GGPa would say it's the Germans marching into Paris. Everyone seems happy & fairly clueless of the flights [by VFR] airbridge by Qatar & hopefully Turkey tonight. Anything that isn't bolted down has been looted on the commercial side. Estimate on commercial flight restart around 1-2 months if then. They should save their fuel, it's getting in short supply & electricity is sketchy.

Shame they left these CH46 though... these should have kept been in a museum. Especially considering their history.

Yeah, would have been nice to save those CH-46s. They were in perfect mechanical condition. The one pictured, actually helped with the evacuation of Saigon in 1975 when it was operated by the USMC. Museum piece for sure.

Maybe they will put them in a museum, like Vietnam did.
