Disappointed in BoJo lately uh?
Nop - the floppy headed one is more virile than Micron and the Alpaca got bolted (should have done the owner as well to be honest)

Just needs to get a decent wave machine built in the channel

Yeah, would have been nice to save those CH-46s. They were in perfect mechanical condition. The one pictured, actually helped with the evacuation of Saigon in 1975 when it was operated by the USMC. Museum piece for sure.
I think only 3 CH-46s remain in the US State Dept hanger @ KBL that were deactivated & deregistered for future part orders. They originally had 7 so hopefully 4 were flown out with a boatload of Embassy staff onboard. Beautiful aircraft, very stable. In reference to all helicopters & fixed wing aircraft, when you place a parts order the manufacturer requires the serial # since vendors can change during the model year. All the serial #'s to any left behind US/ANA equipment have been deregistered with their respective manufacturers so getting parts for the taliban or anyone they sell them too is gonna be a huge problem. Although, maybe Amazon will start stocking pieces parts one day if there is a buck to be made. The ANA had some good pilots that are working for the taliban, a paycheck is a paycheck. All maintenance had to go to a 3rd party contractor. The ANA just couldn't handle it.

Have actually never heard of any “Micron”.

As for a wave machine in the channel, good luck with that, as they will fly to London. I may suggest the RAF if we’re going for this kind of bullshit.

Taliban payday today but when the Central Bank of Afghanistan opened late this morning they were limiting cash withdrawals to a $200 a week limit. I think this is gonna be a problem. A lot of folks not going to work this week again.
State Department spokesman says US will not lift sanctions from Taliban.

Being honest, haven't mentioned this anywhere else on the forum but my Dad passed away at the end of July. My mum texted my brother and I last week asking if we thought he'd have liked his clothes to go to Afghan refugees that will inevitably end up in Coventry (Nearest big city).

Abso-***king-lutely he would. Have already sorted them out and we'll be delivering them soon.

Not going to lie though, there's some fairly horrific old-man fashion choices for some poor bastard to receive.
A lot of my squadron's wives & so's have been setting up the reactivated family barracks to receive Afghan refugees & my wife asked me what they would need. Everything. Most literally left with just the clothes on their backs, no family heirlooms, no photograph albums, no tradesmen tools. Same with the kids, zero favorite toys, no little suitcases with a change of clean clothes, no books. I think that's what hit me the most. My family hid Jews during WW2 in Denmark & all the pictures in our family albums show them with little suitcases with their most important belongings. Odd thing to notice but it really has bothered me these people had to leave everything behind. Good on you on your donations sure they will be appreciated & condolences for your Dad.

The first plane that landed in Kabul after the departure of the Americans was the Qatari military transport C-17A.

Hardly worthy of this rant honestly. I don’t mind to read this but this is something I’ve been reading for decades, that the West is dead and thanks to Putin and Mother Russia the white race will go on.

It’s only too bad about the deplorable birthrates in every eastern Euro countries, including Russia.

TBH I’m not sure where you’re getting at. Sure the West is dead, already dead. Das vi danya and all.

If I’m being cheeky, I think the joke is on us indeed because we have as a civilization imposed colonialism and slavery so it’s about fair it hit us back in the face.
Just remember about some famous Afghan customs.

Micron made a statement with Rutte that he does not want any excessive number of refugees from Afghanistan in his country.

Dude needs to define “excessive”

Me thinks the dude also is in campaign to be re-erected, which means to be nice and kind to any right wingers frenchies.

It looks like your Calais residents tend to vote for the FN. The more "refugees" invade your country, the more people will share their views, as they will have a first-hand experience with them. Micron realised that he cannot go so far with his self-harming attitude.

You know my love hate feelings for this guy, I love to hate him. He’s basically and, unfortunately successfully destroyed most traditional right or left wing parties leaving him and Marine Le Pen just to be sure to be re-elected in a landslide.

Have never liked those traditional parties either, but I doubt Macron is any better. I’m convinced he isn’t after seeing him at “work” for four years.

Sarkozy was a little crook, and Hollande a goofball albeit a sympathetic guy.

The Qatari commercial jet came in early monday while the last of the coalition C-17s were still loading Americans :& refugees out. Yesterday [tuesday] Qatar started sending in the military C-17s to continue the airbridge work. Qatar &/or Turkey will attempt to continue commercial operations @ KBL, good luck to them, looters have trashed the commercial side.

Where would a CH-46 fly to? Pakistan? Tajikastan?
