First of all non of those planes sold. They just retired those Canadian planes were too old they even helped Greece and Israel in past. War is done. But French Are making propaganda in Twitter about "we care freedom" etc. In fact only single squadron to rescue french personel and only troop's are in field Turkish and US covering the airport. That's what i mean about propaganda nothing towards French people btw.

Hard to see if their dissuading people from entering the airport or firing a few shots to increase people entering . The more people in the airport the greater the chaos and the Taliban have zero incentive to form a barrier around it to aid the evacuation .

Heck, the French, Turks and Americans all have some sort of interest in Afghanistan; that’s a granted.

Of course their interest at the moment is to protect the handful of frenchies still in Astan, and bring them back here ASAP.

Even though the Talibans have stated they wouldn’t randomly target foreigners, there’s little hope left for this country for the time being.

Dunno if you can call it “propaganda” honestly. Do and write whatever you please (to some extent…) but expect to be challenged about some of your points too.

The French care about freedom as much as they care about the Malians and Nigerians who are under Boko Haram rules in many parts: to protect the giants like Total and Lafage.
