Ukrainian border guards rapid response unit equipped with MP-5s, most likely from Turkish MKEK (although, for whatever reason on training poster the country of origin is listed as... USA) as well a Turkish CANIK TP-9 hand guns.

Who knows. Germany is de facto absolutely refusing to sell Ukraine anything remotely "military".

yes. German companies are quite open that they do not want to ruin their much more profitable relations with Russia, Yet, some German companies do supply equipment (engine used in APCs, for example) to Ukraine.

Well the supressed one is an MP5SD. MKEK doesn't have a license to manufacture that one, which points me to that the US supplied surplus guns. Another good indicator is the fire selector switch markings on the guns. Those are geman markings S-E-F. The turkish is E-T-S. They could still be turkish the Canik supports that but still it makes it difficult to see where they originally came from.

Ukraine, Memorial and Reconciliation Day, 8th of May. In theory, this holiday along with Victory Day, May 9th about honoring the fallen during during WWII, but it looks like it's going to take on a new meaning in years to come.
