A bit of payback from Ukraine:

Operators of the 14th separate UAV regiment discovered and, in cooperation with the Tavria air defense system, struck a concentration of enemy infantry at one of the Russian training grounds deep in the occupied territories. As a result of the damage caused by cluster munitions, about 30 occupiers were eliminated.

Taiwan is getting help in Ukraine? I didn't know that, but I'm all for it. Ukraine certainly has developed some skills. Any tech assistance they can give to Taiwan is certainly appreciated. It'll be a looooooooooooooooooooooooong 110 mile trip to cross the Taiwan straits. The more PLAN ships they can sink on the way with Ukie know how, the better. US subs will also be operating and they will probably use all of their munitions and have to be rotated in and out to reload. It's gonna be a killing field.

Anyway, that doesn't really matter much, since China depends on open sea lanes for it's food and oil. Things should be getting critical in CCP-land in about a month when they run out of food and fuel.

It is possible that Xi could hold on to Beijing for a bit as the rest of the country rebels and breaks apart
I don't think you realize just how many long range ballistic missiles and AShM China has with the capability of cutting off Taiwan, destroying any assets on the island, oversaturating USN ship defences and blanketing US bases across the Pacific + keep hitting them.

China is closing the technological gap and produces in vast bulk quantities. An entirely different species compared to russia or Iran.

There are very strong indicators of the Taiwanese contacting the #ChinaVirusDevelopers to surrender to them. It may be a much better option than fvcking their country up.
There's a saying: where two elephants fight, the grass will be trampled. The Taiwanese are the grass and so is the EU, unfortunately.

They have lots, that's for sure. And you are correct, the USN can defend against them, until they are oversaturated or US ships and bases run out of missiles.

But I don't think the strategy will be to park a carrier batlle group in the Straits of Taiwan. The strategy will be about long range kills like LRSAM packed B-2 and B-21s for example. Even C-17s with with Rapid Dragon palletized missiles. US submarines will patrol the Straits with impunity however and be untouchable. Their biggest challenge will be expending all of their ordinance and having down time to re-arm.

Cutting China's sea lanes however, will be the easy part and happen on Day 1.

There's a few things that could be said about such "trivial" matters as loss of trust here, but you'll just bang your chest screaming "good riddance", so why bother :D
Loss of trust is a two way street. But honestly, US and Europe are just too closely knit.

So when did Europe betray that trust? And without co-op in security and economy what does that closely knit relationship boil down to exactly (honest question)? I find it hard to name a "western" value that current US admin is a beacon of.
