India:
Leander-class light cruiser INS Delhi makes a visit to the Port of Fremantle, Victoria Quay 1969. Formerly the HMNZS and HMS Achilles she was renowned for her part in the famous Battle of the River Plate in 1939. Achilles also won Battle Honours at Guadalcanal in 1942-43 and Okinawa in 1945. In 1948 she was sold to the Indian Navy and recommissioned as INS Delhi. Delhi served with the Indian Navy until 1978.

Achilles played herself in the British film Battle of the River Plate in 1956.

RN:
On 18 August 1942, Berkeley escorted the Dieppe raiding force. During a 19 August air attack, she was hit by two bombs dropped from Focke-Wulf Fw 190s, which broke her keel and killed 13 ratings. As the damage was beyond control, she was abandoned and then scuttled by torpedoes from the escort destroyer Albrighton.
