Fall 1918. Firth of Forth. Assigned to the 5th Battle Squadron, battleship HMS Malaya departs Rosyth for gunnery practice.
HMS Malaya received severe damage at Jutland 1916. Approx 90 men killed when a turret took a direct hit. Their remains removed at Scapa Flow and buried at the RN cemetery Lyness on the Orkney island of Hoy.

The cruiser BAP Almirante Grau has arrived for scrapping in Guayaquil, Ecuador, the last cruiser to be built with missile armament on board, which was a dream when construction began, and was built as a classic warship with only guns.
The cruiser, which also had 2 naval service years, said farewell to the Peruvian Navy as Almirante Grau, but was originally built for the Royal Netherlands Navy as one of the De Zeven Provinciën class of light cruisers.

What a SAD story for this Peruvian Navy Cruiser, the Peruvian Goverment had to turn it in to a Museum not for scapping.
