Brazil:
Hospital Assistance Ship NAsH Doutor Montenegro. Navy, army and air force provide medical care, support, infrastructure maintenance and construction to isolated communities all over Brazil. These kinds of hospital ships with the doctors and technicians they sail with are some of the only medical care those riverine communities see throughout the year. These are equipped to handle a number of medical and dental operations into them, having X-ray and some even MRI and surgery equipment. They also are responsible for the distribution and application of vaccines.

The Elli-class ships are a group of frigates operated by the Greek Navy. The boats are of Dutch origin. The first two frigates (Elli and Limnos), which feature extended hangars and different armament, were built specifically for the Hellenic navy. The remaining vessels are Kortenaer-class frigates decommissioned from the Royal Netherlands Navy and transferred to the Greek Navy in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Elli, after which the class is named, carries the name of two famous Greek cruisers, one of which was sunk during World War II. A mid-life modernization program was subsequently carried out for six of the ten Greek ships. The program was carried out at the Hellenic Shipyard (HSY) and was completed in 2009. Kountouriotis (F-462) and Adrias (F-459) have been modernized. The other four ships are Navarinon (F-461), Limnos (F-451), Elli (F-450), and Aegaeon (F-460). The main modernization work was as follows:
