The future USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul (PCU LCS-21) arrives in Duluth, Minnesota on May 16, 2022. She has received the combining gear fix and is slated to be commissioned in the Port of Duluth on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
USN:
Tench class submarine USS Torsk is launched at the Portsmouth Navy Yard on September 6th, 1944
Two photos of USS Massachusetts (BB-59) taking on fuel from the Suamico class fleet oiler USS Saugatuck (AO-75) on April 20, 1945. The photos were both taken from the Essex class aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CV-12).
At this time, the ships should be operating in the waters surrounding Okinawa. Massachusetts spent the majority of April around Okinawa, screening other ships (Especially carriers like Hornet) from Japanese air attacks.
